FAQ
THE BRAZILIAN & BIKINI WAX
The "Brazilian" differs from a regular bikini wax because hair is removed in the front, back and everything in between. Sometimes a "landing strip" is left in the front.
The Bikini wax basically only removes the hair that extends outside the elastic line of your underwear or swimsuit.
PREPARATION FOR ALL BODY WAXING
If time allows please exfoliate, lightly, 24 hours before coming. This helps ward off ingrown hairs and speeds up your waxing visit.
FIRST TIME WAXERS
If you are nervous about your waxing visit, rest assured I have a breathing technique to help ease your nerves. I want your visit to be as comfortable as possible. Take an Asprin or Ibuprofen 1 hour prior to your visit and avoid caffeine to help reduce the pain factor. It is not necessary, but for very sensitive people, I do carry a topical anesthetic that you may purchase. It should be applied 10-15 minutes prior to your visit. It’s a fast acting topical anesthetic gel that takes the “sting” out of hair removal.
Any discomfort is brief, and totally worth the end result. Remember too, if you wax consistently (every 4-6 weeks) the hair growth is reduced, the hair texture becomes finer and softer with each waxing session, making the next appointment easier than the last.
HEALTH CONCERNS
Please know that I DO NOT DOUBLE DIP when performing waxing services. To prevent the harmful spread of bacteria. A new disposable spatula is used each and every time more wax is needed.
